truck

This is a black walnut platter that was just finished. We made a batton for a weaver out of pear wood from mulberry grove, a copy of the original. The original has grooves in it from the thread. Brady is working on a small pear and walnut table and scott is working on an alabaster sculpture. This is the truck Chris had on his property that we are going to try to get running. It's diesel, we want to run it on grease/bio diesel. We have to change out the motor and will start on that today. We have been beating up the toyota pretty badly and hope this will help.

fir

This is duane with a load of bettle kill douglas fir we cut on boulder mountain for 6x6 and 6x8 post and beam construction. The beetles are killing large numbers of trees over there.

sycamore

This is an engelman spruce floor we milled and planned for a friends' house loaded in the truck for delivery. Below is a sycamore table top with cypress base that is almost finished and a russian olive platter.

beetle

Brady and Katy are pulling an engelman spruce out to mill with the log carrier, we use this to move large logs, it make things easier and minimizes damage to the log and the land. The other shot is of the pine bark beetle that is killing a lot of trees around here.

lamps

this is the second lamp in the series of three that Katy put together. It is pear wood from mulberry lane and alabaster from the back side of the la sal mountains. the last in the series was walnut salvage from an abandoned tree trimmers wood pile with the la sal alabaster, it sold before we got a picture of it!
